About Arush
I am a second-year MEng Aeronautical Engineering student at Imperial College London, with a strong passion for mathematics and physics. My academic journey has been shaped by a deep curiosity for problem-solving and real-world applications of STEM concepts, from structural mechanics to aerodynamics. Teaching has always been an integral part of my learning experience. As a former leader of my school’s physics club and a frequent participant in mathematics competitions like the UKMT and Kangaroo, I have developed a knack for breaking down complex concepts into digestible insights. Additionally, my experience mentoring young musicians in an ensemble has strengthened my ability to guide and inspire students. I want to tutor because I believe in the power of knowledge-sharing. Having benefited from great educators myself, I understand the impact that patient, clear, and engaging teaching can have. My goal is to help students not only grasp challenging subjects but also develop confidence in their abilities. Whether it's explaining difficult mechanics problems or guiding students through problem-solving strategies, I strive to make learning both accessible and enjoyable.

Lesson structure 1 hour - For interview prep: structured as 1/2 questions depending on time left - For university admissions exams: Start by going over questions student has struggled with, then move onto working through past papers and my personal resources. Problem-solving tips and tricks will be emphasised - For A level: chapter walkthrough with questions on understanding, followed by a set of more challenging problems to work through under my supervision and guidance. Topic requests are greatly encouraged. Tutored A level students with A* achievement. Achieved A* in maths, further maths and physics, top of my cohort.
