The problem that I always had with maths was that it was frustrating as I would be taught how to answer questions and not actually learn the fundamental concepts. This would often lead to confusion especially f questions were worded differently. My aim would be to make sure that the students achieved a strong foundation allowing them to answer almost all questions on the topic with confidence.
