About _ola_
I’m Olanna, an almost-eighteen-year-old literature-lover with a passion for books - so much so that I want to help others see their beauty! I hope to make our lessons a supportive, engaging and fun environment where discussing literature doesn’t have to be boring. I’ll help with planning essays, but also create a safe space where criticism is always constructive, and motivating nudges are always close at hand. You’ll teach me as much as I will teach you: every approach to literary analysis is different, so my lessons will adapt with each student. I can’t wait to meet you!

I’m a big believer in flexible learning: when I did my GCSEs I taught myself most of the curriculum due to health reasons. Therefore, I am incredibly passionate about helping others also achieve what might initially seem ‘impossible’. Although I love reading and writing, I understand that many people don’t - and that’s okay! My aim is to inspire (at least some) interest and motivation to do English in a supportive environment, with the goal being achieving a student’s full potential in their exams. More than ever, education - whether ‘traditional’ or not - is important, and I hope to show this to my tutees with creative and engaging lessons.
