About Mia
You should choose me because I actually understand English, not just how to speak it but how it works. I have an A-Level in English Language, so I know how to break down things like grammar, structure, and essay writing in a way that makes sense.
I’m also a native English speaker, so I can help with pronunciation, natural phrasing, and building confidence in speaking and writing. On top of that, I’ve helped younger students with reading and comprehension before, so I know how to be patient and explain things clearly without overcomplicating it. I try to make sessions relaxed and supportive, not stressful.
Basically, I’ll meet you where you’re at and help you improve step by step.

Lessons include a 50/50 time split. An extract from a novel depending on the level of the individuals will be chosen. I will help to guide whilst reading and push students to new levels with comprehension and knowledge. Then that extract will be used to write an analysis passage for the student to mark themselves so feedback can be given and they can improve next time and implement this into their studies.
