Hi There,
I am part time maths tutor looking to take up a few more students for the duration of the current academic year. Looking to take up secondary school students working towards Maths GCSE or A Levels (C1, C2, C3, C4 and M1).

I am a first year student at Queen Mary University of London undergoing a integrated masters degree (MEng) for Mechanical Engineering. Having achieved A* Maths GCSE, A* Further Maths GCSE and A in Maths A Level, I strongly believe I will be a very competent Maths Tutor.
My aim with any student is to ensure each session is engaging and effective.
My Strategy with the Student (Based on 1 Lesson per week):
At the end of each lesson I will leave the student with homework based on topic(s) covered in the lesson. This will be due in 2 days before the next lesson, allowing me to mark the homework well in advance of the next lesson. The homework will provide the student a chance to practice the skills introduced in the lesson and provide me with some insight to where the student is stands and requires some more guidance.
This will ensure that the student is progressing academically between lessons and not stalling. Doing this will allow us to make the most of each lesson, as any concern regarding the previous lesson would be highlighted by any issues in the homework.
