About Ava
My name is Ava, and I'm about to turn 19, having just started a multimedia journalism course at Manchester Metropolitan University. I love sociology, I genuinely believe it's a topic everybody should study - especially after spending four years studying it! I received a grade seven at GCSE, and a C at A level, alongside getting A levels in politics and film studies, both deeply sociological subjects.

After spending four years studying sociology from Year 10 to 13, I am confident I have found the best way to study the subject, after helping peers raise their grade from an E to a B. Quick fire quizzing, essay planning, and proofreading essays are all things I can confidently offer to GCSE and A level students studying sociology. A typical lesson could range from half an hour to an hour, depending on the student's ability to focus on essay writing independently. Additionally, I have all 9 GCSE qualifications, and am happy to offer tutoring in any of the core subjects.
