About Brihanna
Hi, I'm Brihanna. I am an 18 year old tutor specialising in GCSE and lower level geography, currently studying Psychology with Criminology at university.
Having recently completed my own exams - achieving a Distinction star in Health and social care, a grade B in A level geography and a Grade B in A level sociology - I understand exactly what it takes to succeed in the current curriculum. I also hold a Grade 7 in GCSE geography and a Grade 9 in GCSE RE, proving my long term passion and consistency in these subjects.
Because I am currently a university student and have just been through the exact same exam cycle as my pupils, my knowledge of the mark schemes, common pitfalls and revision techniques is fresh and highly relevant. I am incredibly patient, supportive and dedicated to helping students build their academic confidence, break down complex topics, and reach their full potential.

My online lessons are highly interactive and tailored towards the student's target grade. Having achieved a Grade 7 at GCSE and a Grade B at A level, I know how demanding the curriculum can be.
In our sessions, we will focus heavily on:
-Mastering case studies
-Command words
- Exam technique
Lesson structure and teaching technique:
10 min recap quiz at the start on the previous topic
Next 45 min: Interactive teaching on a core topic or case study using a digital whiteboard
Last 30 min: Exam practice where we unpack past papers and mark schemes together
I use the proven "I Do, We Do, You do" method. First, I break down a complex geographical process or case study into simple steps. Next we plan an exam response together. Finally, the student practises writing a section independently. We focus heavily on command words like evaluate, explain or to what extent so the student knows exactly how to secure full marks on test day.
Lessons for GCSE/A level students.
Lesson length will be 1hr 30.
