About Charlotte
Hello, my name is Charlotte, I am studying Geography MA at the University of Edinburgh!
Though many of my skills lie in my knowledge and passion of the subjects I have studied, I am also a confident essay writer, receiving 100% in both my English Literature and Geography Coursework, as well as accomplishing 100% in my final A-level Edexcel poetry exam, as notified by my school board.
My confidence and sociability, as well as my passion for learning lenders into my abilities as a tutor, as I pride myself in being to connect with the Tutee, having recently left the education system myself.
I like to make sure that my tutor sessions are at a level that is productive whilst maintaining a light-hearted work environment, as ultimately the more someone can enjoy a topic, the more likely motivation and improvement will follow :)

Techniques and Methodology:
-Tutoring online face to face using the Microsoft teams platform, in order to share projections and maintain interactive, engaging lessons.
-Sequential tasks that tackle the core struggles of the tutee in a manner that builds in difficulty, whilst primarily focussing on confidence and understanding content.
-Exam practice that improves time management alongside writing style, approaching essay-based writing through an accessible, sophisticated structure that is easily transferrable between subjects and elevates the relationship between exam knowledge and technique.
- Approaching difficult topics through simplified descriptions, then progressing into refining knowledge to a detailed standard that aligns with the tutees progressive confidence.
Typical length of a lesson:
- Flexible lessons lengths, with typical timings being between 45-60 minutes

- Student 1 improved from a 2 at Mocks to a 7 GCSE grade

Charlotte would be a trustworthy tutor because of her strong communication skills, patience, and ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and understandable way. Additionally, her passion for helping others learn and understand the subject she loves would make her an excellent tutor. She tutored me geography GCSE which took up a lot of her time and she made sure i understood all topic areas before the tutor session ended
