About Akshada

I am a passionate, committed and engaging tutor who is looking to tutor students who want to achieve their full potential and secure those highest grades in Economics A Level. I am passionate about extending my knowledge to beyond the classroom to grasp real world applications of the subject. I am completing my undergraduate studies in BSc Economics in London. My strengths in tutoring are my patience and ability to adapt to changing student learning preferences and abilities. I have also had previous experience in tutoring and mentoring students where I have seen successful results.

My Approach to Tutoring and Teaching Techniques and Teaching Methodology I believe in a student-centred approach to teaching, tailoring lessons to suit the individual needs and learning styles of each student. I focus on: Simplifying Complex Concepts: Breaking down difficult topics into manageable steps with real-world examples for better understanding. Interactive Learning: Encouraging active participation through discussions, problem-solving, and real-life applications of economic principles. Exam-Focused Preparation: Providing targeted support with past papers, mark schemes, and examiner tips to boost confidence and performance. Typical Lesson Length A typical lesson lasts 1 hour. Qualifications and Experience Academic Excellence: Achieved high grades throughout school and in Economics at A Level and currently studying Economics at university in London. Leadership Experience: Chaired Senior Economics Society during A Levels, organising engaging discussions on economic issues. Professional Insight: Experience with prestigious Economics programmes such as securing a competitive internship at Institute of Economic Affairs. Secured highly competitive professional finance programmes at Morgan Stanley and HSBC. Public Speaking and Communication Skills: Placed highly in national public speaking competitions, enabling me to explain ideas clearly and effectively.
