About Tayyub
I am a people’s person who understands children and teens; and due to just finishing my A-Levels I recognise what revision techniques are the best; I recognise the immense pressure that students are under and because I’ve been through it I know what helps and what doesn’t. I want to spread my knowledge and pass on everything I know to help students understand the content.

As I've just finished A-levels, I can tutor those who are in secondary school, just going into college/sixth form, or those in their final year of A-Levels.
For A-Level students: I can tutor Biology and Chemistry (AQA) and Geography (Eduqas)
For GCSE students: I can tutor Maths, English, Biology (triple science) or combined sciences, Geography, Religious Studies/Thematic Studies and Statistics.
My lessons begin with 'Retrieval Questions' to begin active recall which will help your brain retain vital information. We then move onto the main part of the lesson where you’ll learn content securing knowledge from the specification and you can ask any questions to boost your understanding. Finally, the plenary task will ensure you understand everything you’ve been taught that lesson and gives another opportunity to ask for help incase you didn’t understand anything from the lesson. My teaching philosophy is grounded in the idea that students' minds are not empty vessels waiting to be filled; rather each one of them brings their own particular brand of genius to my classroom, and my most important job is to discover and empower that genius.
