About Oliver

Hi, I’m Ollie, a Business student currently on placement at a top ten accountancy firm in the UK, working towards a career in tax and finance. Outside of academics, I’m passionate about powerlifting and padel, which keep me disciplined, focused, and goal-driven. I decided to start tutoring because I achieved strong results in A-Level Business and Economics and know how valuable the right support can be in reaching top grades. Teaching gives me the chance to share my knowledge, help students build confidence, and show how these subjects connect to the real world.

About the lesson

A-Level Business and Economics are subjects where success isn’t just about knowing the content — it’s about mastering exam technique. That’s where my lessons make the difference. I’m a Business degree student who recently achieved top grades in both A-Level Business and Economics, so I know exactly what examiners are looking for and how to write answers that hit the top bands. Having recently completed the course myself, I have an in-depth understanding of the current specifications and what separates a good essay from a great one. My lessons focus on how to structure responses, analyse data effectively, and evaluate in a way that gains maximum marks. I use real examiner insights, past paper trends, and clear, step-by-step methods to help you turn knowledge into results. Unlike tutors who rely on outdated notes or generic teaching, I teach strategies that work right now — because I’ve just done it myself. Whether you’re aiming to push from a C to an A or refine your technique for that A*, my sessions will give you the confidence, precision, and exam skills to perform at your best.

Having worked and collaborated with Oliver as a student in projects the way he articulates himself and gets information across is of a high standard. He helped me with some Financial maths and terminology to help me understand and feel confident going into my mid term exam, which led to me gets above 85%. I could not recommend more.
