About Karen

Hi! My name is Karen and I'm looking forward to helping you reach your learning goals :)

- I have a Level 5 Advanced Diploma in Teaching English as a Foreign Language.
- I am a fully qualified Primary School Teacher (I teach 11 subjects!).
- I love learning and I do several Continuous Professional Development courses each year!
- I lived in Spain for one year teaching a diverse range of pupils English as a second language.
- Every summer, I work as an English language teacher for private schools and summer camps.
- I have taught conversational English, English grammar, business English, and tutored students through the B1, B2 and C1 level Cambridge English exams.
- I have experience teaching in the classroom and one-on-one.
- I originally trained as a Journalist and have worked as an editor, writer, and language data analyst!
- I love to travel and meet new people :)
- I love teaching, making lessons fun for students, and helping to build learners' confidence and skills.

About the lesson

- I can proofread and edit assignments, cover letters and CVs.
- Length of lesson: 45 - 60 min (45 min = €25/h and 60 min = €30/h).
- Qualifications: Highfield Level 5 Advanced Diploma in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (The TEFL Institute); Professional Master of Education (PME) in Primary Education; BA Journalism and New Media; 180 hour Master Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language; Certificate in English Grammar
