About Naseek

I am an ICAEW Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser with around six years of professional experience in corporation tax, having worked across two leading UK accounting firms. I am passionate about accounting and enjoy helping others develop the same confidence and understanding that has been important throughout my own career.

I decided to start tutoring because I remember how challenging it can be to learn accounting concepts for the first time, particularly when you're faced with unfamiliar terminology or difficult exam questions. I enjoy breaking complex topics down into simple, understandable steps and helping students see how the different parts of Accounting fit together.

My professional experience also allows me to bring real-world examples into lessons and show students how the concepts they are learning at A-Level are applied in practice. I believe this can make Accounting more interesting and help students understand why they are learning something, rather than simply memorising it for an exam.

I aim to create a relaxed and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. Every student learns differently, so I adapt my approach to their individual needs, whether they are looking to build their confidence, improve their exam technique or achieve a particular grade.

Ultimately, I want my students to leave each lesson feeling that they understand the subject better and are more confident in their ability to succeed.

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring is focused on making Accounting clear, practical and engaging. I aim to build a strong understanding of the underlying concepts rather than simply teaching students how to memorise answers. I adapt each lesson to the student's individual needs, whether they need help understanding a particular topic, building confidence, improving exam technique or preparing for specific exams.

I typically combine clear explanations with worked examples and exam-style questions. I encourage students to work through questions themselves, allowing me to identify any gaps in their understanding and address them as we go. As students become more confident, I place greater emphasis on independent problem-solving, exam technique and applying their knowledge under time pressure.

Lessons are typically one hour, although I am happy to tailor the length depending on the student's needs and preferences. I offer lessons online, making them convenient for students across the UK.

I am an ICAEW Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser, with approximately six years of professional experience in corporation tax across two leading UK accounting firms. I am also over two years post-qualified in both disciplines. My professional experience allows me to bring real-world context to the topics students are learning and explain how accounting concepts are applied in practice.

My lessons are primarily aimed at A-Level Accounting students, typically aged 16–18, whether they are looking to strengthen their understanding, improve their exam technique, increase their confidence or work towards achieving their target grade. I am happy to work with students of different abilities and tailor the lessons accordingly.
