About AFSHIN
I have a Master’s degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL). My Bachelor’s, however, is the English Translation. I have been teaching English for various levels at different universities and language institutes since 2003. In recent years, I have been focusing on IELTS preparation.

Based on the students' needs, my method of teaching may vary. For instance, for the IELTS preparation classes, the candidate should first be provided with a placement test. Then they become aware of where in the language they are; afterward, the syllabus for the student is designed for the four principle skills (Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking) and the two sub-skills, i.e grammar, and vocabulary.
If the candidate is competent enough in English, they will be instructed on the IELTS techniques and strategies. In case they are not at an acceptable level of English, they will have to go through English general courses such as listening, grammar, and vocabulary preparation.
