My technique- Jab ek electron ko gaseous isolated neutral atom mein add karenge toh uspar attractive and repulsive forces lagenge
If attractive>repulsive
Anion form then it
release energy / exothermic
hence ∆H = -ve
Electron affinity+ve bcz yeh electron add karana chah raha hai
For example
∆H is -ve then EA is +ve
