About Megan
I bring over five years of piano teaching experience, supported by a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance (Pedagogy Focus). My lessons emphasise sight-reading fluency, detailed score analysis, and expressive interpretation of classical repertoire. Students also study theory, music history, finger technique, and performance practices from different eras. I have worked with complete beginners, ambitious advanced learners, and professional pianists. My teaching style adapts to each student, creating lessons that are structured yet flexible. I believe progress is built step by step with encouragement and discipline. Together, we can develop both your technical skill and artistic voice at the piano.

My piano teaching approach builds technical and theoretical skills side by side. I teach music theory as a practical tool that comes alive when applied at the keyboard. Lessons are flexible, adapting to the needs and pace of each learner. My teaching style is supportive but disciplined, ensuring steady progress. Students learn not only how to play but also why music works the way it does. This builds stronger performers and more creative musicians. With time, theory becomes second nature and enhances every aspect of piano study.
