About Alexandra
I have graduated from Bangor University with a degree in English Literature, have a PGCE in post-16 education and a TEFL qualification. I am currently doing my Masters in Education.
I have had work experience all the way from nursery to secondary school and have taught KS3, GCSE and A-Level English. I’m currently teaching A-Level English Literature & Language and the Welsh Baccalaureate at GLLM. I also teach GCSE English and ESW and have been doing so for 4+ years.

Each of my lessons are catered to the individual learner. I don’t follow a set scheme of work, I assess your individual needs and create resources, lessons and feedback that will best support you and benefit you the most. That way each lesson is different and moulded to what you specifically need.
I like to make my lessons fun, engaging and interactive and avoid traditional ‘chalk and talk’ methods. Getting involved and being an active participant in your learning will help strengthen the knowledge needed, improve retention and hopefully develop a lifelong love of English.
