About Daniel
About Me – Daniel here
My name is Daniel Nguyen, and I am a passionate musician and teacher specializing in traditional Vietnamese and Chinese string instruments. I teach Đàn Tranh, Guzheng, and Đàn T’rưng, sharing my knowledge, experience, and love of traditional music with students of all ages and skill levels.
I studied Đàn Tranh at the Vietnam National Academy of Music, where I developed a strong foundation in Vietnamese traditional music and performance. I have also furthered my musical training at the Newcastle Conservatorium of Music in Australia.
Through Zheng Academy of Sydney Australia, I aim to introduce traditional Eastern music to a new generation while creating a welcoming and supportive learning environment. Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced musician, I tailor lessons to suit your goals, interests, and musical journey.

Daniel is a professional musician and music tutor with over 12 years of teaching experience. He has studied at the Vietnam National Academy of Music and has also undertaken musical training at Newcastle Conservatorium of Music and Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Daniel specializes in traditional Vietnamese and Chinese music, combining traditional techniques with modern teaching methods to create lessons that are engaging, supportive, and inspiring. Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced musician looking to develop your skills, lessons are tailored to your individual goals, interests, and musical journey. • Instrument testing session: $85 AUD
• The instrument testing fee covers care and handling.
Additional fees may apply if an instrument is damaged.
• Missed lessons are non-refundable and non-transferable.
• Instrument orders require a $350 AUD deposit to confirm the order.
