My name is Adam Allen. I am 42 years old. I’ve been married to my wonderful wife for 18 years and we have a beautiful 2 year old daughter named Charley. I have been involved in education as a teacher, tutor, learning coach, and administrator for over 10 years. I‘m a big fan of comic book movies and the Beatles.

I treat each student as an individual and craft learning plans that are differentiated, goal-focused, and lots of fun. My teaching style focuses on identifying and remediating the root causes of learning difficulties. I have been a 1-on-1 Learning Specialist for over 10 years. I am trained and certified in several learning programs, including Orton-Gillingham, Seeing Stars, Visualizing & Verbalizing, LiPS, Talkies, and On Cloud 9. I work with students all ages.
