About Emily
I am a full-time teacher with a passion for reading. I have worked with children since my late teens. Since then, I’ve tutored, worked in schools, and eventually realized that the classroom is exactly where I’m meant to be. I love helping students learn—but even more, I love watching them grow into kind, confident, and curious people. My goal is to help you reach your goals, both in school and in life… and to have a little fun along the way!

In our lessons, we will start off with areas that you do not feel most confident with. Following that you will be given a brief assessment to evaluate areas that we need to grow in. I will approach the area with an “I do, We do, They do” method. I will demonstrate how it should be done first, then we will try it together and to see if you have mastered the objective I will give you time to practice the work independently. This will be graded to see what we still need to work on and to measure your growth. Additionally, iIf you still have questions outside of our sessions, I would be more than happy to answer them.
