About Jordan
I was not a very bright kid in elementary school but I loved science and would study out of school. Eventually I was top of my class and by high school I was able to take college courses in the afternoons after my regular classes. This resulted in me getting two associates degrees (from the University of New Mexico) before I got my high school diploma. I still attend the same university so I can continue my research and look after my grandparents while I get my bachelors in Physics.

Most of my students are much smarter than what their grades say. The problem is most teacher skip over the middle steps in teaching that a student needs to be able to understand what they‘re doing.
I understand that everyone understands things at different levels and some people just need to be shown the small in between steps of a problem so that it becomes easy.
The way I tutor changes by student, but it typically involves these two methods.
(1) I create a custom plan that fits with the class to help you understand the material
(2) I go over homework with the student, to explain the thinking process of solving a problem, and how to make the problem easy.
