About Kate
I have not taught any one to read, but I myself am an avid reader and often help family members with their reading, through practise and role play. I try to make lessons as enjoyable as possible, as reading is a key skill in life and it makes it easier if you enjoy it.

I am a high school student in one of my final years in school, these lessons are to help primary school children to improve their fluency and pronunciation while reading. Together the student and I will pick a book they will enjoy reading, once the parent has agreed the chosen book is appropriate, each lesson the said child will read allowed while I correct pronunciation and help improve their fluency. I will also expand their vocabulary and spelling by asking them to learn new words we picked up from the previous lesson.
