About Silvia
Do you want to improve your speaking confidence or listening skills? Want to work on your grammar and pronunciation or expand your vocabulary? My name is Silvia, I am a fully qualified, experienced and passionate Primary School teacher from Barcelona, Spain. I have been teaching online and in the classroom for 7 years, helping students from all around the world to achieve their Spanish language goals.
I can help you improve your speaking, listening, grammar, pronunciation, reading, writing, vocabulary, phrasal verbs, and more. We can practice for job interviews. I am also happy to edit students' writing or to guide students to improve their Spanish writing abilities.
For the youngest ones, I also specialise in:
• Linking school activities to the Australian curriculum.
• Teaching any other school subject in Spanish (Science, Maths, Arts…)
• Conversation about different topics.
• Pronunciation, spelling, reading comprehension, grammar lessons.

I have a Masters’ degree in Second Language Studies and a Bachelor degree in Education (Primary), I speak 3 languages, and I keep up to date with the latest teaching techniques. I believe that learning should be focused on your goals, and, of course, enjoyable! In our lessons, we will use games and fun activities to expand your vocabulary and improve your speaking fluency. To make sure your Spanish is well-rounded, we will analyse targeted grammar structures, and you can choose to receive reading, listening or writing tasks for homework. You will definitely get the maximum benefit in our lessons!
