About Paula
I studied "bachillerato" of humanities in Guía High School, and I obtained a distinction. I also got the B2 level certification by the University of Cambridge while I was studying "bachillerato".
After this period, I entered for a Degree in Modern Languages in the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, in the modality English-French, and I am currently studying my last year. Furthermore, I have a C1 level of English and a B1+ of French, according to the subjects studied during the degree.
What is more, I have experience on giving private lessons to students from different levels: from primary and secondary school, to bachillerato. Moreover, I have been an apprentice in Casa Africa, where I have developed activities related to translation and general knowledge of English, French and Spanish languages.

My teaching method is individualised. I take in consideration the necessities of each student, and I focus in each difficulty that they may have. I do normally follow the Communicative Learning Method in order to promote not only knowledge about grammar, reading or vocabulary, but also a fluent oral and written communication to my students.
I usually create sheets to support and complement students' notes or to reinforce what we see in previous lessons in the five disciplines: reading, writing, listening, speaking and grammar (Use of English). Moreover, I also prepare more dynamic activities like games for learning or online quizzes.
