About Hassan
Hi! I’m a native Urdu speaker with a background in law, I studied in the UK and was called to the Bar of England and Wales. While my formal education has been in law, I’ve always had a strong connection with the Urdu language, especially its poetry, humour, depth and the amount of respect in it. I want to teach because I genuinely enjoy helping people connect with Urdu in a meaningful way, whether that means speaking more confidently, understanding poetry, or just having better conversations. My teaching style is friendly, flexible, and focused on what works best for you. I believe language should be lived and enjoyed, not just memorised from a textbook. So whether you're completely new to Urdu, just looking to polish your skills, learning Urdu to connect with your roots, improve your spoken skills, I’d be happy to help. Looking forward to meeting you!

We'll explore language, culture, expression, and yes, the occasional courtroom-sounding grammar lesson (I can’t help it, I am a lawyer). Classes are relaxed, insightful, and tailored to your goals.
