About Nukhbat

I am a bilingual multimedia journalist and broadcaster. I have the honor to be a broadcaster for BBC Urdu for almost a decade. That institution gave me an opportunity to learn and present Urdu language in creative ways. I have never taught Urdu as a subject but if given a chance, I can teach Urdu pronunciation and diction with accuracy.

About the lesson

Before coming to the United States I never thought I could be a mentor, a teacher or an instructor. But when I got this wonderful opportunity to be an arts and crafts teacher to kids aged 6-12 in a community center in Virginia, I instantly knew I have it in me. The reason of this conviction was the kids themselves whom I was teaching. I learned adaptability from those kids - which I believe is the essence of a teacher. I learned patience and spontaneity from those kids - which is irreplaceable when it comes to teaching and last but not the least I learned creativity from those kids - limitless creativity that opens the door to abundance. So my teaching approach is harmonious I would say.
