About Md Arif

I’m a dedicated and caring individual with a strong background in finance and accounting, currently living in Ontario, Canada. Originally from Bangladesh, I moved to Canada in 2022 with my wife and son to pursue higher education and build a brighter future for my family. After completing my studies, I transitioned into full-time work while continuing to support my family back home and raise my child in a new country.

As a native Bengali speaker, I deeply value cultural roots and communication. I have a natural ability to connect with people — especially children — with patience, empathy, and care. I believe in making learning meaningful and personal. Whether I’m managing projects at work or helping a child take their first steps in Bengali, I bring sincerity, structure, and heart into everything I do.

I’m also someone who understands the ups and downs of starting over — and that has made me stronger, more resourceful, and deeply compassionate toward others walking a similar path.

About the lesson

As a tutor, I focus on creating a warm, patient, and playful environment that helps kids feel comfortable and excited to learn Bengali. I believe that children learn best when lessons are interactive, consistent, and tailored to their pace and interest.

My Teaching Methodology and Techniques:
I use a storytelling and visual-based approach, supported by real-life examples, pictures, rhymes, and simple conversations to keep the child engaged. Repetition, encouragement, and small games are used to make learning feel natural and fun. I often use English as a support bridge when needed, especially in the early stages.

A Typical Lesson Plan:
Warm-up (5 mins): Greetings and short recap of previous lesson

Main Activity (20 mins): New words, sentences, or a small story

Interactive Practice (10 mins): Role-play, question-answers, or flashcards

Wrap-up (5 mins): Review + one small fun challenge for the next session

All lessons are adjusted based on the child’s age, language exposure, and learning speed.

As a parent myself, I value patience, kindness, and clear communication. My goal is to make Bengali a familiar and loved part of your child’s life, not just a subject.
