About Carlos
My name is Carlos. I came from Cuba at the age of 9 with no English background. I found that I very quickly picked up English by involving myself directly in the language by being surrounded by friends that always spoke English around me. After that, I also gave myself the challenge of learning French and later on Portuguese. From experience as being the older son, I always had to translate everything for my parents from English to Spanish in every detail. This has given me the passion to constantly be ready to help others in need with translations and I thought, why not tutor others at something I’m already great at?
