About CELIA

Hi! I’m Celia, I’m 22 years old and I’m currently living in Madrid. I’ve been working with children since I was 18, and over the last few years I’ve travelled, lived abroad and worked closely with families from different countries. I absolutely love kids, human connection and teaching in a calm, creative and personalised way.

I spent two years working as an au pair in Ireland, helping the youngest child with her homework and with learning Spanish (I can provide a reference). I have also worked in a primary school in Spain, teaching various subjects and supporting children with different learning needs.

In addition, I’ve worked in children’s camps in Aruba (Caribbean) for a month and a half, and another month in children’s camps in England, always surrounded by activities, games and fun learning. I’ve also lived in Canada, which has given me a very international background and a comfortable, natural communication style with families from different cultures.

I’m currently in my final year of Psychology, where I support children with special needs such as autism, attention difficulties and learning challenges. I’m patient, friendly, and deeply connected with children, and I love teaching Spanish in a dynamic and personalised way.

I’m friendly, patient and non-judgmental —you can make as many mistakes as you need with me.

With adults, my goal is to help you speak with confidence through real conversations and practical vocabulary.

About the lesson

My lessons are designed for children to learn Spanish in a natural, fun and age-appropriate way. I use games, drawings, simple reading, songs and interactive activities so they feel comfortable and engaged from the very first minute.

I work with children who are complete beginners as well as those who already have some basic knowledge. I can also help with homework, reading, pronunciation and everyday vocabulary.

Lessons can be online, always adapted to each child’s pace and needs. My goal is for them to learn without pressure, gain confidence and truly enjoy every session.

These sessions are relaxed, natural and focused on helping you speak confidently in real-life situations.
