About Ignacia

Hi! I’m Ignacia

I have more than 15 years of experience working as an educator in bilingual environments. In recent years, I’ve taught English to children and adults, and Spanish to adults, which has given me a deep understanding of how to support learners who are starting from zero or who want to take their skills to the next level.

I’m an actress with an MA in Education, so my classes are clear, dynamic, and designed to help you communicate through real, everyday situations. I lived in Canada twice, which allowed me to connect with people from different cultures and truly appreciate the value of speaking English as my second language.

I work with patience, structure, and a practical approach, adapting to your goals. If you’re a beginner, you’re in good hands: you’ll progress at your own pace, without pressure, in a supportive and comfortable environment.

About the lesson

I teach Spanish at the A1–A2 levels with a practical, communication-focused approach. As an actress and educator, I use theater-based techniques—role-plays, simulations, and expressive activities—to help you build confidence from your very first classes. Having lived in a bilingual environment gives me first-hand understanding of the challenges of learning a new language, so my lessons combine useful vocabulary, basic structures, pronunciation, and communication skills, guiding you step by step according to your goals and your pace.

Estuvimos trabajando juntas durante su investigación de Magíster en Educación, la cual logró excelentes resultados. Recomiendo a María Ignacia porque tiene una larga experiencia en el ámbito pedagógico en diferentes niveles, y un manejo excelente del inglés como segunda lengua, lo que le permite impartir tanto clases de su lengua nativa, el español, como de su segunda lengua.
