About Mahi

A Little About Me — Your Friendly Persian Tutor!

Salam!

I'm a native Persian speaker from Iran, and I'm really excited to share my language and culture with people from all around the world!

I'm a friendly, patient, and easygoing person who loves meaningful conversations, discovering different cultures, and connecting with new people.

For me, teaching Persian is about much more than vocabulary and grammar. It's about helping people connect, express themselves, and discover a whole new world through language.

I know that learning a new language can feel challenging, especially when you're just starting out. That's why I believe a good tutor should be patient, encouraging, and able to make students feel comfortable.

I want you to feel like you're learning with a supportive friend, not sitting through a stressful exam!

As a native speaker, I can help you understand the Persian that Iranians actually use in everyday life, including natural pronunciation, common expressions, and cultural details that you might not find in textbooks.

I also speak English, so I can explain things in English whenever you need a little extra help.

I'm especially interested in making language learning enjoyable and personal. I love the idea that every student brings their own personality, interests, and reasons for learning.

Whether you're learning Persian for love, travel, friendship, family, or simply because you're curious about the language, I'll be happy to support you along the way.

What matters most to me is that you feel comfortable, motivated, and proud of your progress.

And one more thing: you never have to be embarrassed about making mistakes with me. Mistakes are welcome, questions are always encouraged, and every little improvement deserves to be celebrated!

Whether you're a complete beginner, want to communicate with your Iranian partner or friends, are planning a trip to Iran, or simply love Persian culture, we'll create a learning plan based on your goals, interests, and pace.

You don't even need to know the Persian alphabet to get started. We can begin with speaking and listening, using English letters to help you with pronunciation. If you'd like to learn reading and writing too, we can include that in your lessons.

I especially love helping students build their confidence in speaking. We'll start with simple conversations and gradually make them more natural as you improve.

And don't worry if you're shy or make mistakes. That's completely normal! We'll laugh, learn, and celebrate your progress together.

My goal isn't just to teach you Persian. It's to help you actually enjoy speaking it!
