Stage One: introduce the anatomy, 26 letter. Vowels vs consonants.
Stage Two : Systematically introduce five letters at a time. Create words and learn to blend sounds.
Stage Three: Weave in grammar rules and patterns such as: vowel–consonant–e, ph sound, etc.
Stage Four: Fluency and accuracy of reading.
