About Erik
I am a guitar tutor with over 11 years of experience and a Bachelor of Contemporary Music, specializing in guitar. I have a deep passion for composing and arranging music for both solo guitar and ensembles. Sharing this love of music with my students is at the heart of my teaching.
My approach is supportive, engaging, and goal-oriented, designed to help school students, hobbyists, and professionals alike reach their full potential. I focus on developing technical skills, including scales, modes, rhythm training, and stage performance. Songwriting and musical expression are also key parts of my lessons, encouraging creativity alongside technique.
I have helped students at intermediate and advanced levels, including those preparing for professional work and performance. Lessons are tailored to individual goals, balancing skill-building with enjoyment and inspiration. I provide constructive feedback while fostering a motivating and positive learning environment.
