About Romain

I am a singer, guitarist and composer. I play since I was 5 years old, and professionally since 2015. After a year of activity in Milan, my hometown, I decided to move to Porto, where I sing and play in several projects. My musical journey is marked by the variety of genres, instruments and musical influences, from the Mediterranean to the South and North American continent.

About the lesson

The method I use is based on the discovery of musical theory through the practice of the instrument. The theory (tonal system, functional harmony) is introduced as support for each student's specific musical desire. My musical and technical references come from the encounter with different musical languages that I have incorporated over time (blues, funk, rock, MPB, gypsy-jazz, classical guitar, chanson française, South American popular music, Italian popular music).

Romain's response

Perfect! Romain was a true find. He is patient, engaging, funny, motivating, great at explaining things to a beginner like me in a way that they make sense. I have truly enjoyed our in person classes and am happy that we can now continue online, as we are no longer in the same city. Many thanks and I highly recommend Romain to anyone looking for a passionate guitar teacher.
