I usually prefer H.C VERMA for teaching and nothing more is required than that for iit jee physics syllabus and it is also helpful for 12th standard physics paper also [some topics from other books].
In my teaching i'm also going to tell you some tricks to do some questions easilly that will helps you to save time in paper.
As I have cleared iit jee exam i can teach you how to clear the paper and how to select the questions in exam bcz you don't have that much of time to attend them all.
