About Sunwoo

"Hi! I’m Sunwoo, a university student currently taking a break from my studies in Korea to embark on a new adventure here in Sydney. I’m a student of Liberal Arts, which has given me a broad curiosity and an open mind, and now I’m here to embrace new experiences and improve my own English skills.

What drives me as a tutor is my genuine interest in sharing the beauty of the Korean language and culture. I am incredibly patient, kind, and easy-going, so you never have to worry about making mistakes—that’s all part of the learning process! Whether you’re curious about the latest trends in Seoul, have questions about K-drama plots, or just want to dive into the nuances of daily Korean life, I’m here to chat about anything that sparks your interest.

I believe that learning shouldn't feel like a chore. My teaching style is all about creating a relaxed, comfortable environment where you feel free to express yourself. "Are you interested in learning Korean, but worried that textbooks might be too boring? I’m Sunwoo, a university student from Korea, and I’m here to help you fall in love with the Korean language!

My lessons are all about fun, comfort, and flexibility. Instead of just following rigid grammar rules, we will focus on what you actually enjoy. Whether you want to master lines from your favorite K-drama, understand the lyrics of the latest K-pop hits, or simply have a natural, casual conversation to make new Korean friends or prepare for your upcoming trip to Korea, I am here to guide you.

I believe that the best way to learn a language is through things that excite you. My goal is to make sure you leave every session feeling more confident and genuinely curious about the Korean language. I am very patient, easy-going, and will make sure our time together feels more like hanging out with a friend rather than a strict classroom.
