About Jay

I am an experienced and passionate teacher with 5+ years of experience teaching Mathematics, Science, and Computer Science to students of different age groups and learning levels.

My teaching philosophy is simple: every student can learn when a concept is explained in the right way. I focus on building strong fundamentals, encouraging curiosity, and making learning enjoyable through practical examples and interactive teaching methods.

I am patient, approachable, and committed to understanding each student's individual learning needs. Whether a student needs help with basic concepts, schoolwork, exam preparation, or wants to develop stronger problem-solving skills, I adapt my teaching approach accordingly.

With my academic and professional background in Computer Science and software development, I also bring practical technical knowledge into my Computer Science classes. I aim to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions, making mistakes, and improving step by step.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is focused on building strong concepts rather than encouraging students to simply memorize formulas or answers. I explain topics in a simple, step-by-step manner and connect them with real-life examples so students can understand where and why a concept is used.

I usually begin a class by reviewing the previous topic and checking the student's understanding. I then introduce the new concept using examples, visual explanations, activities, or practical problems. Once the concept is clear, I solve a few examples with the student and gradually encourage them to solve questions independently. I end the class with a short recap and practice questions to reinforce learning.

As a teacher, I am patient and adaptable. I adjust my teaching method according to the student's learning speed, level of understanding, and individual needs. I encourage students to ask questions freely and focus on developing their problem-solving, logical-thinking, and analytical skills.

My classes are intended primarily for school students, including primary and secondary-level learners, studying Mathematics, Science, and Computer Science. I can also support students who need additional help with fundamentals, homework, exam preparation, or strengthening their conceptual understanding.
