About Harrison
I am a pre-service teacher currently undertaking my Masters of Teaching course at Curtin University where I have attained 3 high distinctions and 2 distinctions. I have been tutoring Mathematics and Chemistry at the year 6 to year 12 level for over 8 years. My previous students come from a wide range of educational and socioeconomic background and I do my best to make learning accessible and enjoyable to them.
A lot of my students show improvement in their grades. In fact, in some cases I have students who jump a few grades in a matter of weeks. But more importantly, I have a lot of love and passion for the subjects that I teach and my students consistently tell me that they enjoy my classes and develop an appreciation for the subject.

I place a lot of emphasis on the student's understanding of the subject material. Science and Math is about understanding and connecting concepts rather than memorizing.
Secondly, I will examine the student's problem solving process, and guide them to improve their workflow.
Thirdly, I make the subject interesting and relevant to the student such that they would be invested in their learning.

Details
Cancellations for in person classes must be done 12 hours in advance. From 12-4 hours, a cancellation fee of 50% of the lesson fee applies. If cancellation is made 4 hours before the lesson, the full fee is charged.
