About Hisae

Hi! My name is Hisae, and I am a native Japanese speaker currently living in Los Angels.

I hold a Associate Degree in Psychology and Language from Citrus College, where I developed a strong foundation in both the Japanese language and cultural studies.

I have valuable experience teaching Japanese as a professor's assistant during my college years, where I supported students in their language studies through tutoring and facilitating classroom discussions. This role helped me develop effective teaching strategies and a deeper understanding of student needs.

In addition to my academic experience, I actively participate in language exchange meetups, where I teach Japanese to individuals looking to improve their language skills. These meetups provide a dynamic environment for practicing conversational Japanese and cultural exchange, allowing me to connect with learners from diverse backgrounds.
