About
My name is Melanie! And as I mentioned previously I am a high school senior wanting to pursue music education in the future! Although I am only in high school, I have done some teaching before! I have gone to my local middle schools for their 6th grade fast start to help teach those beginning band students, how to play their instrument! Along with that I have led sectionals in my band class, and I am a drum major, therefore I know how to conduct a band in both marching band and concert band settings!

Hello everyone! Thank you so much for considering me as your tutor! My name is Melanie and I would love to spread my love for music by teaching you the instruments and knowledge of music that I know! I am currently a high school senior hoping to major in music education in college and want to start my teaching career as soon as possible! I love to encourage people to learn music no matter what age you are! Music is something people can learn at all ages and is such an amazing skill to possess! Whether you are learning an instrument for school, or just for fun, it is such a fun hobby to do in your spare time. Perfect! Melanie was so patient while we tried to do a bit of problem-solving when we couldn’t hear each other over Zoom. Once everything got started, she did a great job with my son Gavin. We love the fact that she also plays flute and that she can help him with two different instruments. We are definitely going to book with her again once we come back from our trip next week!
