About Aniket

I was born and raised in a musical family, where my maternal grandfather was a classical vocalist. Inspired by my musical upbringing, I began my vocal talim with Raag Bhairav, building a foundation in Hindustani Classical Music. Over time, I also incorporated my vocal training into flute, which helped me develop a deeper understanding of sur, melody, and musical expression. Music has been an integral part of my life, and I am passionate about sharing this knowledge with students and helping them discover the beauty of Hindustani Classical Music.

About the lesson

My Teaching Approach

My teaching approach is patient, structured, and student-focused. I believe that every student learns music at their own pace, so I adapt my lessons according to their experience, voice, and goals.

Teaching Techniques & Methods

Begin with the fundamentals of Hindustani Classical Music, including swar, sargam, alankars, and taal.
Focus on voice culture, breath control, pitch accuracy, and developing a strong musical ear.
Introduce ragas step by step, combining theory with practical singing.
Use repetition, demonstrations, and guided practice to help students gain confidence.
Include bandishes and simple compositions as students progress.

Usual Class Structure

Warm-up and voice exercises.
Revision of previously learned concepts.
Introduction to a new technique, raga, or composition.
Guided practice and correction.
Homework or riyaaz exercises for continued improvement.
