About Joshua

Hi! I’m Joshua, an experienced guitarist and passionate teacher with over 8 years of playing experience and 3 years of teaching students of all ages. My journey started in church, where I was captivated by the way the band played. That moment sparked a deep love for the guitar—and I haven’t looked back since.

I’ve played in a church band for the past 6 years and also perform at occasional side gigs. I’m most drawn to gospel, blues, and rock, but I appreciate and teach all styles of music. Whether you’re picking up a guitar for the first time or trying to improve your rhythm and creativity, I’m here to help guide you.

My teaching style is patient, consistent, and encouraging. I focus on building solid foundations in chords and rhythm, while also unlocking your creativity. I offer online one-on-one lessons through Zoom or WhatsApp video, and I provide helpful homework and support to keep you growing between lessons.

What I love most about teaching is seeing my students succeed—especially when they realize they can achieve more than they thought possible. Watching someone grow and even surpass me in skill is the most rewarding part of this journey.
