It’s hard to believe it’s been over 30 years since I first stepped into a high school math classroom as a student teacher. I loved teaching then, and I still do! Over the years I have worked as a high school teacher, community college lecturer, actuary, university professor, and chief compliance officer - in that order. I’ve since returned to my "first love" of teaching mathematics and can’t wait to help you be successful!

Hello! With 20+ years of experience in mathematics education ranging from elementary to university level (including homeschooling nine children), I know how to assess where students are and get them to where they need to be – confident, successful, and excited about math! My focus is algebra to university level math courses, but am also available for elementary and junior high level math help.
My coaching style is designed to meet students where they are at, and quickly identify areas of need. Educational sessions employ an iterative approach: assessment, coaching, re-assessment.
