About Heather
Hello, I am Heather.
I am a native English speaker. I am a TEFL/TESOL certified and a new teacher, in addition I have a Classroom Management for Primary Certificate with the British Council English Online. I come from a corporate working environment in Professional Sales Management for 35+ years. I am passionate about helping students develop their English skills and become confident communicators.
I am interested in teaching as I really enjoy helping people learn, grow and achieve their goals. I believe learning English should be encouraging, practical and fun, rather than something students feel nervous or pressured about.
My lessons are designed for students of all levels, whether you are starting with the basics or developing more advanced English skills. I particularly enjoy helping students improve their reading, spelling, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and speaking confidence.
I aim to create a friendly and supportive online environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and practising their English. Seeing a student become more confident and recognising their own progress makes teaching very rewarding for me.
