About Nila
Dance has been part of my life for more than a decade, and I love sharing that joy with others. My classes are chill, fun, and supportive, so you’ll always feel at ease while learning. Having trained in Bharatanatyam and Kathak, and performed Bollywood and contemporary styles, I bring a versatile teaching style. I’ve choreographed, judged, and held workshops, so classes blend discipline with creativity. My focus is always on creating a space where you feel confident and comfortable to try new movements. To me, progress in dance isn’t about talent alone — it’s about the commitment and consistency you bring to every class.

My lessons last 40 minutes to 1 hour, keeping them light, enjoyable, and effective. Whether you’re a beginner or advanced, choreography will be customized for your pace and comfort. Having trained in Bharatanatyam and Kathak, and performed Bollywood and contemporary styles, I bring a versatile teaching style. I’ll be mainly focusing on Semi-Classical, Bollywood, and Kuthu styles, with a touch of Indian Contemporary. At the same time, if you’d like to explore an art form more deeply, I’d be happy to guide you through the pure classical dance styles as well. You’ll learn not just steps, but confidence, rhythm, and a true love for dance. Expect sessions that balance fun, fitness, technique, and expressive storytelling.
