About James
I earned my B.S. in Biology from the University of Kentucky and my Ph.D. in Pharmacognosy, followed by postdoctoral training at the NIH focused on RNA biology. I am now a Research Assistant Professor, where I continue to conduct biomedical research and mentor developing scientists. Throughout my career, I have mentored high school, undergraduate, and graduate students with a wide range of backgrounds, experience levels, and academic goals.
