About Kristine
I love teaching American Sign Language and have a passion for helping students develop their signing skills, communication abilities, and confidence.
I began my teaching experience as an ASL tutor and later became an adjunct instructor at the college level, including teaching high school Dual Enrollment students. I have worked with students from a variety of backgrounds, ages, and learning levels.
I adapt my teaching approach to meet each student's individual needs and goals while creating a supportive, welcoming, and fun learning environment. Whether you are completely new to ASL, looking to strengthen your skills, or hoping to become more confident communicating in ASL, I am here to help make your learning experience enjoyable and meaningful.

Lessons may include vocabulary, ASL grammar, fingerspelling, conversation, and receptive and expressive skills. I use a variety of activities and real-life situations to help students practice ASL in a natural and meaningful way.
Most importantly, I want learning ASL to be fun! I create a welcoming environment where students can practice, ask questions, make mistakes, and build confidence. Whether you are new to ASL or looking to improve your skills, I will help you learn at a pace that works for you.
