About Mengyang
I’m a University of Toronto Engineering graduate with a strong passion for music and guitar. I’ve been playing since the age of 12, and it has become one of my biggest interests alongside my studies and career. I enjoy playing and teaching a variety of styles, especially pop, rock, and R&B. As a self-taught guitarist, I know how to make learning approachable and enjoyable for beginners. My goal is to share my experience and love for guitar in a way that helps students grow their confidence and creativity while having fun with music.

I’m a passionate self-taught guitarist who loves sharing the joy of learning pop songs and electric guitar tricks with beginners. My lessons are designed for anyone starting from zero or looking to strengthen their basic skills. You’ll learn essential chord knowledge, rhythm patterns, and simple solo techniques that make your playing sound more professional. I use a fun, song-based approach—teaching you popular tunes while explaining the techniques behind them. Each lesson is easy to follow, focused on real improvement, and personalized to your favourite music style.
