About Chantal
I graduate with a BA (Hons) in Music with a minor in History from Laurentian University in 2014. I continued my education at the University of Ottawa and graduate with an MA in Musicology with a concentration in gender studies and popular music in April 2019.

I love teaching and I believe in tailoring my lessons to the students' individual needs. As a MA student at the University of Ottawa I was also a Teaching Assistant. As a Teaching Assistant I prepared and conducted several lectures and tests for second and third year undergraduate level courses. I also held office hours to meet with students to provide help and tutored students that needed additional special help. Whether you are interested in Wagner, Women in Music, Renaissance Music, Music and the Brain or Popular Music, I am versed in many subfields of musicology and am willing to teach any ages - even young beginners! I believe in making music education fun and engaging for anyone who loves to learn.
