About Finn
I have been teaching guitar for the past 8 years and have helped around 300 students learn and improve their guitar skills. I work with high school students, college learners, and adults who want to learn guitar in a supportive and structured environment. My teaching philosophy focuses on simple explanations, regular practice, and building confidence in every student.
I believe that anyone can learn guitar when lessons are clear and enjoyable. In my classes, students learn important guitar fundamentals such as basic chords, rhythm exercises, strumming techniques, finger strength development, and simple music theory.
These skills help students build a strong foundation and improve steadily. I also include song learning in my lessons because it helps students apply their skills and makes practice more exciting. Teaching many students has helped me understand different learning styles, so I always adapt my lessons to suit each student.
Some of my students have gained the confidence to perform in school and college programmes. My goal is to help students enjoy learning guitar and grow as musicians.

My Guitar teaching style focuses on making learning simple, engaging, and practical. Every student learns differently, so I adapt lessons according to their learning style and musical interests. Students begin with important Guitar fundamentals such as chord transitions, strumming patterns, rhythm exercises, scales, and finger coordination. These techniques help create a strong foundation.
I explain each concept clearly and provide demonstrations so students can easily understand how to apply the techniques. To make lessons more meaningful, I use real-life musical examples and song analysis to show how Guitar skills are used in real music.
Along with Guitar playing, I also introduce subjects such as music theory basics, ear training, rhythm development, improvisation basics, and songwriting. These areas help students develop creativity and deeper musical knowledge. My aim is to help students enjoy learning while steadily improving their Guitar abilities.
